  • Contributed to Zero Trust network migration and other High Business Impact (HBI) security initiatives — developed a practical feel for how security operates inside a large enterprise.

  • Built a full Azure environment from scratch — deployed VMs, configured VNets and NSGs, set up Log Analytics workspaces, and wired Data Collection Rules via portal and PowerShell.
  • Implemented identity and access controls — configured RBAC, Conditional Access policies, and managed user accounts through Entra ID.
  • Diagnosed and resolved a real configuration failure: Azure Monitor Agent wouldn't install due to a workspace/VM region mismatch. Isolated the root cause and resolved it systematically.
  • Integrated Microsoft Sentinel and Defender XDR — configured alert rules, investigated live incidents, and maintained the environment's security posture throughout.
